Sometimes the imperative to be on social media -- blogging, Facebook, Twitter, and even newer platforms like Tumblr and Pintrest -- can feel overwhelming. This course will break down the essentials of being effective on Twitter even when you have limited time and resources.

Who should take this course:

If you are a professional at a mission-driven organization and want to consider how Twitter can help your cause, or if your organization already uses Twitter, this short course will bring you from the basics to determining your strategy for using Twitter effectively. 

What you will learn:

  • Twitter messaging basics
  • How to track and grow the number of followers
  • Effective practices that don't take a lot of time.

The Ideation phase will inform the categories of participation in the next phase of the Challenge.
