The KDMC Mobile Symposium is a traveling training session for news professionals and journalism educators. We cover emerging mobile opportunities for journalism and the news business, as well as key mobile tools and skills. We also discuss how to teach mobile in journalism school. So far, this symposium has been offered at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Montana-Missoula. It features talks and exercises by experts in mobile technology and media, mobile marketing, mobile reporting, and teaching mobile journalism. Archived resources include speaker slides plus additional tips and links.
