Judith Martinez-Sadri is co-founder and editor-in-chief of Atlanta Latino Newspaper. In this role since 2002, she serves as the newspaper's chief journalist, educating and informing Georgia's diverse Latino population with breaking news and information through a multimedia platform - print, Internet and television. Martinez-Sadri's experience in the communications field spans over a decade. As one of the Southeast's most-experienced Hispanic journalists, Martinez-Sadri has worked for the largest Spanish-language television network in Mexico, Televisa, and for the leading publishing company in Mexico, Grupo Reforma. In 2003, she was recognized by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as "Businesswoman of the Year" and is the youngest Latina to have ever received this award. Under her editorial leadership, Atlanta Latino Newspaper has received 25 awards from the National Association of Hispanic Newspapers. In 2007, Martinez-Sadri received the Gold Award for best education article and Silver Award for best political opinion. In 2008, she was awarded the Gold Prize for best political article and Silver Award for best Hispanic success story. In 2008, Martinez-Sadri received an award at the First Annual Atlanta Women's Expo Awards Luncheon presented by General Motors and Skirt! magazine for her leadership in Spanish media in the state. Martinez-Sadri is a member of the Women's Leadership Exchange and sits on the Board of The National Association of Hispanic Publications. She holds a bachelors degree in mass communications with a minor in advertising and marketing from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Mexico.
