Mike Brunker is a projects team editor for MSNBC.com. Brunker has served as the editor of the "Rising from Ruin" series, which was selected as the "Best Journalism Site" of 2005 by the National Press Club. In 2005, Brunker also won a first place award in the "special report/enterprise" category for online media, given by the Pacific Northwest chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, the Online News Association and National Turn Writers Association. Brunker holds a B.A. in journalism from San Francisco State University.

Rachel Clarke is a coordinating producer for enhanced coverage at CNN.com in Atlanta, Georgia. She won the Hong Kong Newspaper Society reporting award in 1994, and participated in a Thomson Regional Newspapers apprenticeship from 1989 to 1991. Before joining the CNN team, Clarke combined her interest in travel with her interest in journalism and worked for Eastern Express, and English-language newspaper in Hong Kong. She has also worked as an assistant news editor and chief reporter for the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, an Editor-in-Chief for the South China Morning Post.com, and a world duty editor and Washington correspondent for the BBC news Web site. Clarke graduated from University College London with a degree in medieval and modern history.

Gabriel Coan is a senior editor at Yahoo!. He works on the team that produces the "Featured" component on the front page of Yahoo!. He also owns and operates an independent record label, and has worked for Boarders Books and Pfeifer Music Partners. Todd Holzman is a supervising editor at National Public Radio. Holzman has won several Virginia Press Association awards in the 1980s. Prior to joining NPR, he worked for the Miami Herald, DCI Communications, ABC Radio News and States News Service. He also does volunteer work with recovering alcoholics and addicts and is an NPR mentor, who runs the NPR.org internship program. Ronald Parsons is an assistant managing editor at Yahoo! News. In 2004, Yahoo! Media Group recognized Parsons with the "All Star" Award for launching Yahoo! News' RSS products. He has served as a judge for the EPPY Awards and the AEJMC "Best of the Web" competition. Parsons acts as a regional coordinator for the Online News Association, and he is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. In the early 1990s, Stanglin won the Overseas Press Club first place award for magazine reporting, and the Headliners Club first place award for foreign reporting.
