Sara Goo leads digital content, strategy and audience engagement efforts at Pew Research Center, a non-partisan ‘fact tank’ that tracks public opinion on politics, religion, digital habits and other trends shaping our world. She oversees new digital content -- new data analysis, report curations, graphic summaries, slideshows and other multimedia. She also manages content on Pew Research’s social media accounts.
Sara is a seasoned digital journalist with more than 14 years of experience at two of the nation’s largest news organizations. Before joining Pew Research, she led The Washington Post’s daily digital news operation as the senior news director. Before that, she served as an editor, national and business reporter at The Post and The Wall Street Journal.
She lives in Washington, D.C. with her family and is writing a book about her family’s roots in Hawaii.
