New Media Women Entrepreneurs grant applications due Wed. Jan. 23

That's right, tomorrow is your last chance to apply to win a J-Lab grant to fund community media projects led by women.

With funding from the McCormick Foundation, New Media Women Entrepreneurs will award $14,000 to each of four women-led project that show promise in creativity and sustainability.

Proposed projects can include new websites, mobile news services or other entrepreneurial initiatives. The goal: to provide interactive opportunities to engage, inspire and improve news and information in a geographic community or a community of interest.
