24-hour online "Giving Day" fundraisers: how-to guide, webinar

by: Amy Gahran |

Fundraising is all about strategy. The Knight Foundation has just published the Giving Day Playbook, a how-to guide with tips to plan a successful 24-hour online giving campaign.

According to Knight: "Over the past two years, the community foundations we work with have increasingly launched Giving Days as a way to not just raise funds but to provide leadership and engage new donors. Yet organizers have struggled to find the resources they need to help in the planning."

If you'd like to hold your own Giving Day, this guide includes checklists and templates to help organizers go from day 1 of planning to post-campaign analysis. While targeted at community foundations, the Playbook can help any nonprofit participating in or planning a similar campaign.

Free webinar, register now. Learn more from Knight about Giving Days on Sept. 12, 2pm ET (co-sponsored by CommA).
