Knight Prototype Fund: Apply by Jan. 31

Do you have a hot idea for a project or tool that involves media, data, or information -- perhaps that could benefit your community? Apply now for the Knight Prototype Fund, which provides $35,000 grants, plus support and training. Winners are selected quarterly and get six months to seed their project with research, experimentation, and tweaks.

Open to to nonprofits, for-profits organization and individuals working on charitable activity (open source development, public education, etc.).
