Native American Media Awards: Enter by April 1

Much coverage of Native American issues happens at the community level. If you covered Indian Country stories in 2013, you might want to enter the Native American Journalists Association's 2014 Media Awards, which recognizes excellent reporting and presentation of stories covering Native Americans.

Learn more and enter now. Deadline: April 1. Fee: $25 for professionals, $15 for students. Competition is open only to NAJA members; must apply for membership by April 1. Entries must have been published, broadcasted, or posted online Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2013. 

Winners will be announced July 12 at NAJA's Media Awards Banquet, during the National Native Media Conference.
