Nov. 6: What’s next in open government?
On Nov. 6 in New York City, the Paley Center for Media will host The Next Big Thing in Open Government. This forum will feature conversations about successful use of technology at all levels of government in the U.S. This event is offered in partnership with the Knight Foundation.

Session include:
- Jennifer Pahlka (founder and executive director, Code for America) and Christopher Gates (president, The Sunlight Foundation) will discuss whether citizens are at the center of open government activity.
- Seth Flaxman (cofounder, Democracy Works) will discuss student engagement during elections
- Matt Hampel (founder, LocalData) will present a digital toolkit for canvassers collecting place-based data.
