Time is running out to apply for this year's Donald W. Reynolds Fellowships for projects intended to innovate journalism (including community media).

Apply now
Deadline: Feb. 1
Past Reynolds fellows have readied innovative ideas for market testing, and conducted scholarly research to promote a new understanding of journalism.
Stipends are available for each type of fellowship:
- Residential fellows receive $80,000, plus a one-time $10,000 allotment for relocation to the UM-Columbia campus.
- Nonresidential fellows receive $20,000 and get to work from their location, with a few visits to Columbia, Mo.
- Institutional fellows receive a $20,000 stipend (payable to their employer) and develop their idea while remaining at their place of work.
Fellows have access to resources available through the Missouri School of Journalism -- including the school's media labs and support from on-staff professionals. Residential fellows also receive office space and a laptop.
