Deadline: March 2, midnight PST

Previous winners include a mobile app directed at politically engaged millennials, a grant to support native advertising experimentation for Southern California Public Radio, and a street team / community development project for the San Francisco Public Press.

Tips for entering: Knight has published a list of recommendations for this program -- including leaving out certain overhead items in your proposed budget, and using different metrics for one or two targeted goals.
