The Knight Digital Media Center recognized the challenges editors must meet and brought top editors and online managers from 12 newspapers this 4-day, all expenses-paid leadership conference in Los Angeles designed to help focus their 21st century newsroom.
This unique gathering, underwritten by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and McCormick Foundation, took place July 15-18, 2008, in Los Angeles. Highlights included the best ideas and innovations available to help editors shape their organization’s future.
